Grove Gallery - Maple Grove Art Show

Maple Grove's first annual art exhibit, the Grove Gallery will take place in Febuary 2012.

Guidelines:
  • There are two forms for each participant to fill out for each piece of art you are submitting (up to 2 allowed). The first form is just your name, the name of your art piece and your “artist statement”. The second form has an area for an adult artist to comment. Please secure both forms to your piece(s) of art.
  • The maximum size for paintings and photos should be 24" X 36 (size includes mat).
  • The deadline for handing in art is a few days before the gallery-please bring it to the office.
  • The parent volunteers will set up the art in the Gym. Of course, we will make every attempt to keep your art safe and sound but please note that we cannot be liable for breakage (so pack accordingly). Parent volunteers will begin setting up artwork in the gym at 5:30 pm on the night of the gallery! Most two-dimensional art will be hung around the gym. Three-dimensional work will be on tables. Please include anything needed to display your work properly.
  • The goal is to have workshops available for participants next year, but we weren't able to arrange those for this year.
